About Backuper

Privacy notice

Backuper is operated for personal server backups. It is not offered as a public service and does not invite other people to connect their accounts.

Information and permissions

Backuper creates archives from selected application databases, files and configuration on the operator's server. Archives are encrypted before being uploaded to configured storage destinations, including Google Drive.

The Google integration uses OAuth credentials and Drive file metadata to locate the configured backup folder, upload archives, check deliveries, retrieve backups for verification or restoration, and rotate older copies. Google Drive's requested permission is broader than a single folder; the configured backup workflow does not intentionally operate on unrelated Drive files. It does not request access to Gmail or contacts.

Storage and use

OAuth credentials are stored in private configuration on the operator-controlled server. They may also be included in encrypted disaster-recovery backups. Backup destinations store encrypted archives; restoration can create private decrypted copies on the operator's system.

Google information is used for backup operations, not advertising or sale. It is not intentionally shared beyond the operator and the configured storage providers needed for those operations. Providers process their services' metadata under their own policies.

Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and removing access

Archives are retained according to the operator's configured retention policy. The operator can delete stored archives and local restoration copies. Copies in separate destinations must be removed separately.

Google access can be revoked through the Google account's third-party connections settings. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not delete backups that already exist.

This website and contact

These information pages contain no advertising or account forms. The hosting infrastructure adds Cloudflare security and web-analytics scripts, which may process request and browser metadata to serve, protect and measure use of the pages. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of that information.

For privacy questions or requests, use the operator's support email shown on the application's Google authorization screen.
